Description:

Over-dyed rugs undergo a series of processes to neutralize & lift the original color of the rug. This includes a mixture of chemical washes & natural sun bleaching. During this process, the pattern is not removed, but instead the outline of the design is left, creating a foundation ready to be re-imagined. The carpets are then dyed in one color, sometimes repeatedly in order to reach the desired saturation level.
