This Heriz rug was handwovenduring the secondquarter of the 20th century.

It features an allover design of scrolling leaves in tones of navy,indigo, yellow, green, gold and ivory on a patinatedred ground. All-over designs are less common on Heriz rugs whichmost often feature large central medallions.The main border is composed of alternating rosettes and palmettes utilizing the same tones as the field on a navy ground.

In Very Goodcondition with very minimal wearconsidering it’s age. Lush pile with a hefty handle.
